Authors are invited to submit research papers describing original, unpublished research that is not (and will not be) simultaneously under consideration for publication elsewhere.
According to the Registration Regulation for TPDL 2013, inclusion of
papers in the Proceedings is conditional upon registration of at least
one author per paper.
Moreover, upon submitting the workshop, tutorials and panels proposals, the proposers commit that in case their submission is accepted, all people involved (speakers, lecturers, panel members, etc.) will physically attend and coordinate it.
Full papers (12 pages), short-papers (6 pages), posters and demonstrations (4 pages) must be written in English and submitted in PDF format. The TPDL 2013 proceedings will be published by Springer-Verlag in Lecture
Notes in Computer Science. Therefore all submissions should conform
to the formatting instructions described in the "For
For Doctoral Consortium, papers are expected
to have a maximum of 8-10 pages, including references.
Papers is recommended to be formatted according to Springer LNCS
guidelines. Submissions should be made in electronic
format as PDF files.
In case your paper includes images or screenshots
please ensure that you set image compression at 600dpi when you produce
your PDF file.
Papers, posters and demos
Full papers, short-papers, posters and demonstrations must be submitted in electronic
format (PDF) via the conference's EasyChair submission page.
Workshop proposals should be maximum four (4) pages in length following the LNCS format and they can be submitted in PDF format via email to the Workshop Chairs (Mounia Lalmas mounia/at/acm/dot/org and Laszlo Kovacs, laszlo/dot/kovacs/at/sztaki/dot/hu, please remove spam protection). Please use the Subject line "TPDL 2013 Workshop Proposal - XXXX", where XXXX is your workshop's title or acronym, when submitting.
Tutorial proposals should be submitted in PDF via https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=tpdl2013tutorials. Upon acceptance the tutorial proposers will have to deliver a 300 Word abstract (1-2 paragraphs) suitable for inclusion in conference website, while a two (2) pages abstract in LNCS format documenting the tutorial will be included in the TPDL2013 conference proceedings published in the Springer LNCS series.
Panel proposals should be two (2), maximum three (3), pages in length following the LNCS format. They can be submitted in PDF format via email to the Panel Chair (Ingo Frommholz ingo/dot/frommholz/at/beds/dot/ac/dot/uk, please remove spam protection). Please use the Subject line "TPDL 2013 Panel Proposal - XXXX", where XXXX is the title of your panel, when submitting.
